National Indian Law Library Finding Legal Help-NILL provides Indian law research assistance but cannot offer legal advice. We are unable to recommend specific attorneys but hope that this guide will help identify legal services that are available. This web page does not represent a complete list of legal aid available. Local libraries might provide local directories of legal aid and lawyers.
Indian Law Resource Center The Center provides legal assistance to indigenous peoples of the Americas to combat racism and oppression, to protect their lands and environment, to protect their cultures and ways of life, to achieve sustainable economic development and genuine self-government, and to realize their other human rights.
Pine Tree Native American Unit We provide legal services to members of the Mi'kmaq Nation, The Houlton Band of Maliseet Indians, the Penobscot Nation, and the Passamaquoddy Tribe, and to other Indigenous people residing in Maine. We publish the Wabanaki Legal News and the Quinnehtukqut Legal News (for tribes in Connecticut) once a year.

HRLSC The Human Rights Legal Support Centre (HRLSC) is an independent agency, funded by the Government of Ontario, to provide legal services to individuals who have experienced discrimination.

CLSAC Civil Law Service for Aboriginal Communities, We are the Civil Law Service for Aboriginal Communities or 'CLSAC'. We are a service of Legal Aid NSW. CLSAC goes to communities in NSW and visits Aboriginal women in custody. The majority of CLSAC staff are Aboriginal people.
Aboriginal Legal Service A proud Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisation,the Aboriginal Legal Service opened our doors in 1970 in Redfern as the first Aboriginal Legal Service in Australia, and the first free legal assistance service in the country - that makes us almost 50 years old!
Legal Aid Queensland The Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Legal Service (Qld) Ltd is a non-profit, community based Indigenous organisation who is the primary legal service provider to Indigenous Queensland in areas of criminal, civil and family law.
