Black Lives Matter	Black Lives Matter was formed in response to the acquittal of George Zimmerman in 2013 and quickly became a national movement to end police brutality. The organization continues to mobilize and amplify national dialogue around state-sanctioned violence
BAJI	The Black Alliance for Just Immigration is the nation's largest Black-led organization championing racial justice and immigrant rights.
Rise Against Hate	Rise Against Hate was created to raise awareness about racism and civil rights, investigate racial disparities, and provide public awareness in law. We accomplish this through research, investigations, and providing results and information to the public. Additionally we will provide training to further raise awareness.
Color Of Change	Color Of Change designs campaigns powerful enough to end practices that unfairly hold Black people back, and champion solutions that move us all forward. Until justice is real
Blackout For Human Rights	Blackout for Human Rights (Blackout) is a network of concerned citizens who commit their energy and resources to immediately address the staggering level of human rights violations against fellow Americans throughout the United States.
CommonGround Foundation	Rapper Common founded this organization in the 1990s to provide greater opportunities for under-serviced children through mentorship, community service and the arts.
Black Women's Blueprint	The Black Women's Blueprint services black women affected by issues such as sexual violence, abuse and incarceration.
Advancement Project	Advancement Project is a civil rights organization whose mission is: "fulfill America's promise of a caring, inclusive, and just democracy." The organization uses innovative tools to strengthen social movements and achieve high-impact policy change. It is involved in a variety of different campaigns and provides multiple opportunities for volunteers to get involved in various projects. Its website provides an abundance of resources and information for anyone who wants to know how they can help.
NBWJI	The National Black Women's Justice Institute's mission is to research, elevate, and educate the public about innovative, community-driven solutions to address the criminalization of Black women and girls.
Black Girls CODE	Black Girls Code is on a mission to increase the number of black women working in computer programming. By hosting after school programs and workshops, the org plans to train one million young black women in the field by the year 2040.
National Urban League	The National Urban League is a historic civil rights organization dedicated to economic empowerment in order to elevate the standard of living in historically underserved urban communities. Founded in 1910 and headquartered in New York City, the National Urban League spearheads the efforts of its local affiliates through the development of programs, public policy research and advocacy. Today, there are more than 100 local affiliates in 36 states and the District of Columbia, providing direct services that impact and improve the lives of more than 2 million people nationwide.
JTMF	We exist to end racism through education. Founded in 2014, the Joan Trumpauer Mulholland Foundation began with a goal to preserve, share and continue the legacy of Joan Trumpauer Mulholland. Our goal is to educate people about the Civil Rights Movement and how they can make a difference in their community. Through our work, we have found that the most effective way to change racist ideology is to begin with education. Racism is a learned behavior. Adults and children alike can benefit from a change in perspective and an increased awareness of the past.

Voices of the Civil Rights Movement	Comcast NBCUniversal's Voices of the Civil Rights Movement honors the legacy and impact of the men and women who championed racial equality in the United States. The project launched in 2013 as "His Dream, Our Stories" to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom, where Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s iconic "I Have a Dream" speech became a rallying cry for the movement. Today, Voices of the Civil Rights Movement presents more than 17 hours of gripping firsthand accounts, historical moments and stories submitted by the public.
